Locking your D-Link DWR-957X router to 4G only can improve connection stability and prevent it from switching between 3G and 4G networks. Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Connect To Your Router

  1. Use a LAN cable or Wi-Fi to connect directly to your router.
  2. Avoid using a mobile hotspot to prevent login issues.

Step 2: Open The Router Login Page

  1. Launch your preferred web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.).
  2. Type 10.0.0.2 into the address bar and press Enter.

Step 3: Log In To The Router

  1. Enter your router login details:
    1. Username: admin
    2. Password: admin or admin 1 (depending on your setup).

Step 4: Access WAN Service Settings

  1. In the main menu, go to Basic Setup > WAN Service.
  2. You'll see a table of available profiles.

Step 5: Edit The LTE Profile

  1. Find the LTE profile in the table and click Edit.

Step 6: Change The Network Mode

  1. Scroll down and click Advanced Settings.
  2. Locate Network Mode and select 4G Only from the options.

Step 7: Save Your Changes

  1. Click Apply to save your settings.
  2. Restart your router if prompted to activate the changes.
