This article is for existing Vox fibre clients who are using the Mikrotik RB hEX (750 GR3) router.
The Mikrotik RB hEX is a five port Gigabit Ethernet router for locations where wireless connectivity is not required or the Wi-Fi coverage area is too large. (In these cases, the use of wireless Access Points (AP's) is recommended.) This new updated Mikrotik router brings several improvements in performance: It is affordable, small and easy to use, but at the same time comes with a very powerful dual core 880MHz CPU and 256MB RAM, capable of all the advanced configurations that RouterOS supports and it features a full size USB 2.0 port. IPsec hardware encryption (~470 Mbps) and The Dude server package are supported and its microSD slot provides improved r/w speed for file storage and Dude.
