This article is for existing MTN customers who need to set up their MTN LTE router after delivery

Installation:

No technicians or cable setup required. Just insert your SIM card into the provided router, plug it in, and get connected within minutes.

How long does it take for my service/SIM to be activated once the courier delivers it?
Your service/SIM typically activates shortly after inserting the SIM card into the router, though it may take up to 24 hours in some cases. If your service isn't operational after this time, please log a ticket with our support team at service.dsltelecom.co.za or contact the MTN call centre at 083 135.

MTN creates a default username and password for your router.

MTN sets a default username and password for your router. You can find these login details on the bottom of your router:
Username: This is the Wi-Fi SSID listed on the bottom of your router.

Password: This is the Wi-Fi key listed on the bottom of your router.

Please note: Leaving the password as the default poses a security risk. It is highly recommended to create your own unique password.

To log into your router and set up your LTE connection:

Step 1: Choose an optimal spot for your router, ideally near a window for the best signal quality and centrally located in your home.
Step 2: Insert the SIM card into the router.
