This article is for MTN LTE customers experiencing issues with their Tozed ZLT S50 4G router and needing troubleshooting steps to ensure smooth network performance.
Steps to troubleshoot your MTN LTE Tozed ZLT S50 4G router
Step 1: Ensure that the SIM card is the correct size and properly inserted in the correct direction.
Step 2: Insert the DC power port, then press the power button. The device will boot automatically.
Step 3: Once the router has been booted, the normal LED indicators should display as expected.
Step 4: Find the Wi-Fi SSID and password from the label on the back of the router. Connect the PC or device to the router's Wi-Fi. You can also use the router's Ethernet port to connect the PC or device.
Step 5: If you have previously changed the Wi-Fi SSID or password, and forgotten what you set it to, you can press the reset button at the bottom of the router, (as indicated), for 5 - 8 seconds to perform a factory reset on the router. Once complete, the SSID and password will be restored.
Step 6: After connecting via Wi-Fi or Ethernet port, open your web browser and type in 192.168.0.1 to check the webgui. (open-source content management system)
Step 7: The default login credentials are username: admin and password: admin
Step 8: The default APN (Access Point Name) should be set to ''mymtn'', and typically doesn't require manual adjustment.
Step 9: To test if the network is available, perform a speed test at
www.speedtest.net , using the Wi-Fi or Ethernet port.
