Telkom router login and password details

This article is for clients who need to log into their router and enter their password details.


Telkom creates a default username and password for your router. 

You can find your router login details at the bottom of your router. This is what you will find:

Username: Admin

Password: Admin


Please note: it is a security risk to leave the default password as admin & admin.
It is highly recommended to set your own unique password.

 

To login into your router:

Step 1. Open your internet browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer)

Step 2. Find your IP Address underneath your router and type this into the browser. (e.g 10.0.0.2)

Step 3. You should see 2 text fields where you can enter a username and a password.

Step 4. The default username for your Telkom router is admin and the default password is admin.

Step 5. Enter the username & password, hit "Enter" and now you should see the control panel of your router.

Step 2. Lock your LTE router to a 4G network.

Step 3. Create a secondary Wi-Fi network.

Step 4. To view your IP Address range.
