In this article, you'll learn how to interpret your first Telkom Fibre invoice.
It's important to note that your billing will start once your fibre line has been activated.
Please refer to the example invoice below to see how your charges will be displayed:
1) The first line item includes the charge for the first full month of your physical fibre line as well as your monthly fibre contract fee. In this example, it covers the period from June 9 to July 8, 2024.
2) The second line item shows the data usage for both the month in which your service was activated and the current month. In this example, the date ranges are May 9 to June 8 and June 9 to July 8, 2024.
3) The third line item is a once-off charge for your device purchases. In this example, it is for a DLINK router.
4) The fourth line item displays applied discounts. For instance, the DLINK router is discounted or credited as part of the fibre bundle. There are also prorated discounts or credits for the physical fibre line charges and data usage.
5) The fifth line item shows the total charges for the month including VAT @ 15%.
