This article is for existing Telkom fibre customers.
How to move your Telkom fibre to a new address:
Relocating with Telkom fibre is possible if the premises you are relocating to has the same Fibre FNO as in your current contract. ( A FNO is the Fibre Network Owner whom manages and owns your fibre optic connectivity infrastructure. ) E.g. Vumatel, Openserve, Link-Africa
If it isn't the same FNO then you will have to cancel your current fibre contract. Cancellation costs will occur if cancellation is within the 12-month commitment term. The pro-rated remaining cost of the installation and router will be charged at the time of cancellation of your contract.
You will need to take out a new contract with an FNO that has fibre in your new area's premises. This will include the router and installation at no additional cost to the customer.
Email sales@dsltelecom.co.za if you need to apply for a new fibre line with a new FNO
