How to change your spend limit on the Telkom online portal & via the Telkom mobile app

This article is for existing Telkom LTE customers.

A spend limit is a functionality that allows you to manage & control your out of bundle spend rate.

Here is how you can change your spend limit on the Telkom online portal:

Once you have registered, successfully linked your account and logged in, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Select 'Manage Subscriptions’ under ‘Mobile Accounts’

Step 2: Select the ‘Mobile Number/LTE Service Number’ you would like to set the spend limit on

Step 3: Load Subscription Info\

Step 4: Scroll down to ‘Spend Limits’

Step 5: Edit your ‘Permanent Spend Limit’

Step 6: Select 'Save'

How to change your spend limit on the Telkom Mobile App:

Once you have successfully logged into your Telkom mobile app follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to 'My account'

Step 2: Go to 'Manage account'


Step 3: Select 'Set spend limit' 


Step 4: Enter the amount you wish to change your spend limit to


Step 5: Accept the terms and conditions

Step 6: Select 'Set'

Your spend limit will now be updated.

Please note that all changes made to your Permanent Spend Limit will be effective from the following month and changes to the additional spend limits are effective immediately.
