What is Call Flip and How Does It Work on Yeastar PBX, Linkus Application?

What is a Call Flip on Yeastar PBX?

Call Flip is a feature available on Yeastar cloud PBX that allows you to transfer a live call between different devices without putting anyone on hold. For instance, you can seamlessly move an ongoing call from your computer to your mobile phone and vice versa.

  • Seamless Device Transition: Transfer live calls between devices linked to your Yeastar PBX extension account without any hold time.
  • Uninterrupted Communication: The person you're speaking with will never know you switched devices, ensuring a smooth conversation.
  • Flexibility: Works on virtually all phone terminals connected to your Yeastar PBX, such as computers, mobile phones and desk phones.

 

How Call Flip Works on Yeastar Linkus:

Call Flip (Push): This method involves "pushing" the live call to another device.

Step 1: While on a call using Linkus Web/Mobile Client, simply touch the "Call Flip" button on your call interface.
Step 2: Select the device you want to move the call to. If using a desk phone, press the feature code on your dial-pad, causing all your extension-connected devices to ring.

Step 3: Pick up the call on the selected device to continue the conversation.

Performing Call Flip and Call Switch on Yeastar Linkus

 

Call Switch (Pull): This method involves "pulling" a call away from the original device.

Step 1: Open the Linkus Web/Mobile Client on the device you want to move the call to.
Step 2: Touch the "Call Switch" button on the home screen to see all active calls.
Step 3: Select the call you want to continue. The call will instantly transfer to the new device and end on the original device.
