How to Perform a Call Pick Up on Yeastar Linkus

This guide is for existing Yeastar clients who need to perform a call pick up using Yeastar Linkus.


Yeastar Linkus provides a call pick up feature that allows you to answer a ringing call that hasn't been picked up. This guide explains the steps to perform a call pick up.


Requirements:

Before you can pick up a call, ensure that you have logged a ticket here to be granted the "Allow for picking up or hanging up agents' calls" permission.

Procedure:

Follow these steps to pick up a ringing call using Yeastar Linkus:

Step 1: Access the Queue Panel:
  • Open the Yeastar Linkus app
  • Navigate to Call Center Console > Queue Panel.

Step 2: Identifying the Ringing Call:

  • On the Waiting Calls panel, locate the call that is in the Ringing status.

Step 3: Pick Up the Call:

  • Hover your mouse over the ringing call.

  • Right-click the incoming call.

  • Select "Pick Up" from the context menu.

  • The Yeastar PBX system will route the call to your extension.

Step 4: Answer the Call:

Once the call is routed to your extension, answer it as you would any other call.
