Vox ADSL runs over Telkom's copper network and since Telkom is currently in the process of shutting down its copper network, this means that all traditional phone lines and ADSL services will be discontinued by 30 November 2020.

What steps should I follow?

If you are an existing Vox ADSL customer and have Vox fibre available in your area, you will need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Sign up/order your preferred Vox fibre service.

Step 2: Once your fibre order has been processed, you will need to cancel your Vox ADSL service. It's Important to note that you need to provide 1 month's cancellation notice to Vox.

*Please note that there may be a short period of service downtime whilst the the ADSL is switched off and the fibre is being installed which takes 7 - 21 working days.

Can I keep my existing landline number once my ADSL line has been disconnected?

Yes you can. We can help you port your existing Telkom landline number to DSL Telecom's VoIP service. You can either keep your Telkom number or get an 087 xxx xxxx number that's unique to you.
