How To Reset Your Telkom Huawei E5577 Mifi Pocket Router

This article is for new Telkom LTE customers who would like to factory reset their Huawei E5577 portable router.

A router reset will erase all of your customised settings. The router username and password will be reset to factory default values as shown on the router label. Personalised WiFi settings will also be deleted, including the WiFi name and password you created.

Steps to reset the Telkom Huawei E5577 mifi portable router:

Step 1: Turn on the Huawei E5577 router.

Step 2: Look for the reset button. Few routers have a tiny hole and few others have a reset button.

Step 3: Press the Factory reset button with a straightened paperclip pin or something that gets through the tiny hole, and hold it for about 15 seconds (till you see all the lights flashing).

Step 4: The Huawei E5577 router will reboot automatically. The unit has been reset and is ready to use.
